Some of the following guilds are mostly on Dragonbrand.
PVP focus. Brand NEW guild. We ask that you rep us at least most of the time when you are in the MIST, and/or contribute in other ways: run events (tpvp/spvp/wvw/social stuff), be active & useful to other guilders, recruit, among other things if you would like to move up in the world.
Ranks from highest to lowest include- Warlord, General, Immortal, Gladiator, Tourist, and Underling.
I do not mind recruiting a co-warlord (GM), but if I do not already know you this will take some time. To move up to General you must have a pvp rank of 10 or above. Tourist is the "new member" rank. Gladiator is our full fledged member and Immortal is the veteran member. You can expect to stay at Immortal unless you prove yourself above and beyond. We accept all ages, all classes, etc, and the spvp is fairly casual since I am all over the place at-the-moment. This is mostly a guild to find other people interested in pvp and group up. I prefere SKYPE during spvp events.
PVX focus. Really Small guild with room to grow. All level III tree buffs. We accept every one all levels etc. Right now I have theme days in which I try to do some thing related to the theme. Monday: Alliance fun day (make a point to do some thing w/STFU or your other guilds), Tuesday: TPVP all day (I'll pop on some time to do pvp. If interested in grouping whisper me), Wednes: WVW (same whisper if interested), Thurs: Dungeons, Fri: Map stuff/world events, Sun: Guild maintenence-promotions, demotions, recruting, etc. We have several GMs & room for High Officers, Officers, Leaders, vet member, member, new member. No rep req for new member. In order to move up in the world participation and/or socializing, rep'ing, donating is required. We have a rank for leaders of other guilds called "friends," you may ask about that. Some times we have events hosted by [STFU] or by someone in [luv]. For events see "Events." We have a raid call server.
Ultimate Girl Gamers [UGGs] is an all female guild made by two laides that really enjoy spvp & wanted to have a place in which other females can come together and play. The only requirement right now is that you be a female. PVP is the focus. NO rep requirement. If you are interested in joining please talk to me & I'll get you in contact with someone that can invite. SKYPE is prefered for spvp events.
Special Tactical Fighting Unit [stfu] is the alliance guild for [luv]. They are bigger & welcome people from [luv] into their ranks. They require that you at the very least rep them during their events. I will post various events on the website under "EVENTS". [STFU] has a google + community group you may search for & they use raid call for voice comms

God Knights [GK] is a guild a few of my friends from other games joined. They are mostly on dragonbrand and consist of ~160 people. The focus is pve with interest in WvW. They do ask that you rep them more than your other guilds.
My husband's interst in GW2 dwindled, so he started playing WoW on a free server. I enjoy playing with him so I made a few characters. We do not have a set guild right now, but if you are interested in hanging with us let me know. We are on the WoTlk servers, and our main server is Lordearon.
OTHER
-I also know of a guild that is mostly on Fort Aspenwood. They are ~50ish people. They ask that you rep them some times. This is a relatively small guild, but they have other friends so they are able to do various guild bounties & events.
-I do mostof my pvp in [MAD] a most of my pve in [luv] or [stfu]. I do hop in [gk] and [uggs] from time to time.
